FAQ - Frequently asked Questions

Where can I get a swamp tour? We have many partners in Cajun Country. We’ll book you at the best place to match your needs. Kayak tours, Boat tours, Airboat tours, and we’ll even paddle you around in a canoe while you take photos if that’s what you need.

Do you work with groups? Yes, we work with groups of 1 person, families, corporate groups, and large multi-bus groups. We have worked with groups as large as 721.

How do you handle food allergies or religious dietary restrictions? We work with our locally owned restaurants to make sure, ahead of time, that you or someone in your party needs extra care. We had someone with a capsaisin allergy (nothing spicy) in our care and she had a blast!

Can you help me plan my trip to Louisiana? Yes, we can build you the perfect itinerary. Just tell us how many people, when you are coming, How many day, and what you want to see. We’ll take it from there! You just show up and enjoy. Available with or without guide/driver. In English or French.

What if we change our minds about a certain activity on the itinerary during our stay? WE PIVOT! Some activities have no refunds, but we’ve never needed to cancel those. Imagine every family trip you’ve ever been on: Your mom and/or dad took care of everything, and you never missed a beat. We are that. You just need to keep us informed. We are your best friend here.

How long are your custom tours? Our tours can be anywhere from 2 hours to 2 months! From a walking tour to an intense immersive Cajun experience. We have friends in New Orleans, Nashville, Memphis, and Chicago; We can work them into your itinerary and book your activities there too.

Is everything spicy in Louisiana? Will I be able to eat? Yes! Of course! We can accommodate all spice levels from Zero to Lava! We work with local restaurants to feed everyone! No one will ever go hungry in Cajun Country. We want to feed everyone!

Do we need a rental car? It depends on your custom tour. If you just want a custom itinerary? Yes. Lafayette is not a very “walkable” place. There are very few scenarios where you would NOT need one. Many of our clients like to be driven so we take care of all transportation in that case. We also get some that want a hybrid transportation plan where they get a rental car to have their freedom at night and we drive them in their rental car to all the activities and excursions during the day.
